If you (as a player or potential player or observer) have a question or comment about Aizen's characterization -- or a question Aizen-related plot, this is the place to do it.

Bear in mind that Aizen is an NPC and eight years old, so some plots may not be available, and some questions will be politely avoided. :D

Original Name: Aizen Sousuke
New Name: Makizawa Kotarou
New Age: 8

How was your character killed off?: Currently, this is unknown -- even to the highest authorities in Soul Society.

Personality: With smiles and a casually friendly aura, many people in the Soul Society felt like they understood him, or even believed that they were intimate with him. Aizen was approachable, compassionate and understanding, and he had a gentle way about him that won him the affection and admiration of many.

And of course, he knew that, planned it that way. Cleverly manipulating the trust of those around him, Aizen kept entirely to himself, sharing only the most surface opinions so that others thought they knew him, and yet none of them knew the dark ideas roiling beneath that pleasant surface. His treachery caught the entirety of the Soul Society by surprise, motivated by a revolutionary desire to change the way the world worked.

But after leaving the Soul Society, he remained smiling and casually friendly, reaching out to the Arrancar with the same benevolent, perhaps even hypnotic compassion that he bestowed upon the shinigami. Only, without having to hide his true nature any longer, Aizen is more openly in command, with an edge to his well-mannered ways, and a fist of iron to enforce them. He brooks no failure, tolerates no treachery, and all without ever leaving behind his charming smiles.

New Life: He'll tell anyone interested about himself with a child's directness. As an only child, raised by two inattentive but well-meaning parents, Kotarou has grown up rather independent. He's used to spending time to himself -- reading or learning -- and at school he doesn't have many close friends, slightly socially awkward as he is (having grown up without any close companions).

Although slightly shy, and more used to stories and novels than any sort of adventure, Aizen still has some element of distance to him -- some mystery lurking behind eyes no longer hidden by glasses. There are still to this day things about him that no other person knows.

What do you think your character will most regret about his/her past life?: Probably where he chose to place his trust -- and where he didn't.

What did your letter say?:

"Care to take a little taste of your own medicine?"
